Two of our  STEM cohort graduates, Alaia Leung and Bernice Tam, recently won first prize in a Hong Kong STEAM innovation competition. Their winning project was a mobile app featuring guided meditation resources to enhance Hong Kong people’s health and wellbeing.  

 

Both received 30 hours STEM skillset course and completed the STEM project supervised by our lecturer, that sparked their interest in STEM and enrolled in the competition. Also, they acquired fundamental STEM knowledge and skills from the tutor’s teaching, equipped them to develop and execute their project. The triumph has encouraged them that they are capable to design innovative STEM product and bring positive effects to others.
